Sable Drive’s song is part of an awesome exhibit that is starting on September 27th

Free Music: The Illusion of Liberation is a unique multi-month exhibition opening August 2025 at Eaton House, the creative coworking and activation space inside Eaton DC.The art will debut this summer and remain on view through Winter 2025.

This collaborative project between Michael Bowie of Distrik Kollective, mixed-media artist Khadija Jahmila, and Eaton House explores the paradox of artistic freedom in the digital age alongside the economic challenges faced by artists.

Our music or visual art will be featured throughout the duration of the exhibition. A compilation album will be created from selected tracks and played in the exhibition space, serving as the audio backdrop to the visual works.

They are using work that confronts:
→ Creative labor + exploitation
→ Streaming culture + commodification
→ Resistance, reclamation, and survival
